Symptoms

NetWorker ExchangeがNMM(NetWorker Module for Microsoft)をバックアップし、失敗します。

バックアップ プロセスが開始され、ログ ファイルがバックアップされた後、データベース ファイルのスナップショットがマウントされ、次のエラーで失敗します。

BBB exclude list : Unable to open/create g_sqlstr_volumes_table table, error is table 'volumes' already exists.
BBB exclude list : Unable to add merge_bitmap_status field, error is duplicate column name: merge_bitmap_status.

Cause

Exchangeのファイル システム ディスクのサイズは数テラバイト(TB)ですが、16 TB未満です
各ディスクのクラスター サイズは16キロバイト(KB)です。

 

Resolution

以下のクラスター サイズについては、Microsoftのガイドラインに従うことをお勧めします。

  • 16 TB未満のディスク ボリュームの場合は、 4 KBのクラスター サイズを使用します
  • 16 TBを超えるディスク ボリュームの場合は、 16 KBのクラスター サイズを使用します
