PowerProtect vSphere-installatiebundelupdate mislukt met ABV0032

De PowerProtect Data Manager Suite wordt gebruikt om de vSphere-omgeving te beschermen met de Transparent Snapshot Data Mover (TSDM)-oplossing. Het PowerProtect apparaat is geüpgraded, maar de vSphere-installatiebundelupdate mislukt voor sommige ESXi-hosts met ABV0032.

ABV0032: VM Direct engine is unable to configure protection of the host my-esx.my-domain.com on vCenter my-vcenter.my-domain.com.

The VM Direct Engine cannot complete protection of the virtual machines on this host because the protection configuration was unsuccessful.

Review the error details and summary log in the Jobs window, or export the job logs and review the log files for more information.  If the issue persists, contact Dell Customer Support.  The Installation or uninstallation of vSphere Installation Bundles can also be performed from the PowerProtect Data Manager UI. Go to Infrastructure > Protection Engines and select the Transparent Snapshot Data Movers tab.

In de VIB-updatetaakdetails worden alleen enkele ESXi-hosts weergegeven die zijn bijgewerkt.

De VIB-updateworkflow kopieert het installatiebestand (DEL_bootbank_tsdm_<new-version.vib>) naar een gedeelde datastore-directory (tsdmVib) in het vSphere-cluster. Wanneer u een NFS-datastore (Network File System) gebruikt, moet de exportconfiguratie alle ESXi-hosts in staat stellen de NFS-data te lezen. Een bestandsvermelding (ls) met behulp van een Secure Shell-verbinding (SSH) met de ESXi-host mislukt op de inhoud van de gedeelde map tsdmVib met "Stale file handle".
