Thunderbolt 모니터를 Dell Qualcomm 노트북에 직접 연결하면 DDM이 작동하지 않음

 

Dell Qualcomm 노트북 소유자는 외부 Thunderbolt 모니터에서 DDM 문제를 경험할 수 있습니다. (예를 들어, Latitude 7455 노트북) Thunderbolt Type-C - Type-C 케이블을 사용하여 노트북에 직접 연결하면 DDM이 올바르게 작동하지 않습니다.

다음 DDM 장애 중 하나가 발생할 수 있습니다.

  • 증상 1: DDM의 밝기 또는 대비가 모니터 OSD(On-Screen Display) 값과 일치하지 않았습니다.

  • 증상 2: DDM PowerNap이 활성화되었지만 모니터 밝기가 어두워지지 않거나 외부 모니터가 절전 모드로 전환되지 않습니다.

  • 증상 3: 항목 EasyArrange 기능만 사용할 수 있으며 다른 모든 기능은 사용할 수 없습니다.

Cause

DDC(Display Data Channel)의 CI(Command Interface)가 Thunderbolt 모니터에서 작동하지 않습니다. 이로 인해 DDM이 비정상적으로 동작하게 됩니다.

Resolution

참고: Type-C 디스플레이 동글을 사용하거나 Dell 도킹 스테이션을 통해 연결하는 사용자는 DDM에서 동일한 문제를 않습니다.
