Chybová zpráva při instalaci aplikace Alienware Command Center v6.3

Cause

AWCCSmartInstaller: Instalační program komponenty Peripherals migruje pro svou komponentu do rámce InstallShield. Při kopírování nebo odstraňování některých souborů při pokusu o odinstalaci předchozích verzí a instalaci novější verze dochází k chybě.

Resolution

Krátkodobé pro verzi 6.3:

Kliknutím na tlačítko OK přerušíte proces instalace. Spusťte soubor Dell Update Package (Install Manager) podruhé, opravte problém a úspěšně nainstalujte aplikaci AWCC verze 6.3.

Dlouhodobý:

V souvislosti s tímto konkrétním problémem byl vytvořen případ podpory u nástroje InstallShield. Vidíme problém v odinstalaci starého balíčku periferních zařízení, který je založen na frameworku NSIS, a nového balíčku na InstallShield.
