Unity 和 Unity XT 支援 SCSI-3 持續保留。
已新增兩種額外 SCSI-3 持續保留類型 （類型 7 和類型 8） 的支援至所有 Unity 實體模型和 UnityVSA。需要支援類型 7 和類型 8，才能支援特定 VMware 功能，例如使用共用 VMDK 的 ESXi 上的 Windows Server 容錯移轉叢集化 （WSFC）。IBM 集群需要類型 7 和 8 才能實現快速 I/O 遮罩。
