Unity 和 Unity XT 支持 SCSI-3 持久保留。
向所有 Unity 物理型号和 UnityVSA 添加了对两种额外的 SCSI-3 持久保留类型（类型 7 和类型 8）的支持。需要支持类型 7 和 8 才能支持某些 VMware 功能，例如使用共享 VMDK 的 ESXi 上的 Windows Server 故障切换群集 （WSFC）。IBM 集群需要类型 7 和 8 来实现快速 I/O 隔离。
