Discovery Job Error: 500 : "{"code":500,"reason":"Failed to connect to <PPDM FQDN>: HTTP transport error: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: 
PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: Unable to find valid certification path to requested target","remediation":null,"timestamp":1723825208953,"path":"/api/v2/vmwareservice/vcenters/validate-connection","extendedInfo":null}".

Cause

Sertifikanın süresi doldu

Resolution

  1. SSH kullanarak PowerProtect Data Manager Yönetim IP sine bağlanın.
    1. Geçin /var/log/brs/vmdm
    2. Günlükleri kontrol edin: vmdm-discovery.log <unable to find valid certification path to requested target>
  2. Bir web tarayıcısı kullanarak PowerProtect Data Manager Yönetim IP'sine bağlanın.
    1. Administration Certificates > öğesini gözden geçirin, sağ panelde Süresi Dolmuş Sertifikalar olup olmadığını kontrol edin.
    2. Süresi Dolan Sertifikayı seçin, ardından Sertifikaları Yeniden Oluştur öğesine tıklayın
  3. Infrastructure >Asset Sources öğesine gidin, vCenter Name öğesini seçin ve Discovery öğesine tıklayın
  4. Jobs >System Jobs bölümüne gidin, Manuel Keşif işlemini kontrol edin
