Discovery Job Error: 500 : "{"code":500,"reason":"Failed to connect to <PPDM FQDN>: HTTP transport error: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: 
PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: Unable to find valid certification path to requested target","remediation":null,"timestamp":1723825208953,"path":"/api/v2/vmwareservice/vcenters/validate-connection","extendedInfo":null}".

Cause

憑證已到期

Resolution

  1. 使用 SSH 連線至 PowerProtect Data Manager 管理 IP。
    1. 經歷 /var/log/brs/vmdm
    2. 檢查記錄： vmdm-discovery.log <unable to find valid certification path to requested target>
  2. 使用網頁瀏覽器連線至 PowerProtect Data Manager 管理 IP。
    1. 瀏覽 管理 >憑證，在右側面板上檢查 是否有憑證已到期。
    2. 選取 到期的憑證，然後按一下重新 產生憑證
  3. 前往 基礎結構 >資產來源，選取 vCenter 名稱，然後按一下 探索
  4. 前往工作 >系統工作，檢查手動探索的程序
