Sistem" anlamına gelen bu "sys" diğer adı, DDOS 7.7.5.40, DDOS 8.1 ve üzeri sürümlerden başlayarak tasarım tarafından kaldırılmıştır.

Diğer adın kullanılması bir hataya neden olur:

sysadmin@ng-dd01# sys show date

Bu sürümlerde, sistem parametrelerini ayarlamak için yeni bir "sysparam" yönetici komutu kullanıma sunulmuştur.
