Dell G2724D Monitor users might ask why the monitor is not recognized as Free Sync Premium within the AMD Adrenalin application when using the AMD graphics card.

Process ID (PID) is incorrectly identified in the AMD adrenalin application.

This is expected behavior as AMD Adrenalin incorrectly recognizes the Process ID of the monitor and this would cause incorrect reading and reporting within the application. This can be seen only if the monitor is in Standard mode where the monitor would be recognized as an Adaptive Sync and with HDR on it would be recognized as FreeSync Premium.

This would not impact the functionality of the monitor as the NVIDIA FreeSync is based on the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA) Adaptive sync technology.
