Varsayılan MTU Yapılandırması

• Varsayılan MTU değeri, Sürüm 10.5.4.4'ten itibaren 9216 bayttır. Daha önce 1532 bayttı.
• MTU değerlerini yapılandırma ve doğrulama komutları:
  • default mtu <value>: Kullanıcı tarafından yapılandırılmış MTU bulunmayan tüm arayüzler için özel bir MTU değeri ayarlar.
  • no default mtu: Arayüzleri sistem varsayılan MTU değerine sıfırlar
  • show default mtu: Sistem düzeyinde varsayılan MTU yu görüntüler
  • show interface: Belirli bir arayüz için geçerli MTU'yu gösterir

• CLI komutlarını kullanarak varsayılan MTU yu görüntüleme ve değiştirme örnekleri
• Sanal LAN'lar (VLAN) ve sanal ağlar için yapılandırma senaryoları, L2 ve L3 VPN dalgalanmalarını önlemek için tüm arayüzlerde tutarlı MTU ayarlarının önemini vurgular

Dikkat edilmesi gerekenler ve en iyi uygulamalar

• Sınır Ağ Geçidi Protokolü (BGP) eşleri arasındaki mantıksal ve fiziksel arabirimler dahil olmak üzere tüm arabirimlerde tek tip MTU ayarlarının sağlanması
• Parçalanma, S4200-ON Serisi ve S5148-ON platformları gibi belirli modeller dışında çoğu Dell Güç Anahtarında desteklenmez
• OS10, VLAN veya VLAN üyelerinde yapılandırılan en düşük MTU değerini VLAN MTU olarak seçer

 MTU

• 10.5.4.4 e yükselttikten sonra MTU, kullanıcı tarafından yapılandırılmış bir MTU bulunmayan tüm VLAN'larda ve Ethernet Arayüzlerinde varsayılan olarak 9216 olur

Yanlış MTU Yapılandırmasıyla İlgili Olası Sorunlar 

Paket Kaybı

• MTU çok düşük ayarlanırsa, daha büyük paketler bırakılır ve bu da önemli veri kaybına ve ağ performansında düşüşe yol açar 

Ağ Kapakları

• Arayüzler arasındaki tutarsız MTU ayarları, L2 ve L3 VPN dalgalanmalarına neden olarak ağ kararlılığını ve bağlantıyı bozabilir 

Artırılmış Gecikme Süresi

• Yanlış MTU ayarları, parçalanmanın artmasına, gecikme süresinin yükselmesine ve aktarım hızının düşmesine neden olabilir
