Cause

A rare known issue where a SATA drive receives heavy I/O requests causes this panic.

Resolution

Workaround:
Set the following sysctl:

isi_sysctl_cluster hw.iosched.max_disk_inprog_limit=16

Permanent Solution:
Upgrade to one of the following versions or later:
  • OneFS 9.4.0.16_GA-RUP_2023-11
  • OneFS 9.5.x
