VNX1, VNX2, eNAS: VNX Unisphere Client Launcher met Java, Firefox installeren op Dell Workstation

In de Windows Startmenugroep> EMC roept het pictogram>Unisphere VNX Management Launcher een Visual Basic Script aan om de omgeving in te stellen. Vanwege het beveiligingsbeleid van Dell is Visual Basic van onze werkstations verwijderd. Volg de stappen voor het downloaden, installeren en uitvoeren van VNX Unisphere Client Launcher.
  1. Zoek, download en installeer de nieuwe VNX Unisphere Client Launcher die Java en Firefox bevat.
  2. Zoeken in de Dell productsupportbibliotheek Downloads voor VNX Unisphere Client 1.3.21.1.0322-1

  1. Uitvoeren en installeren op de standaardlocatie C:\Program Files (x86)\EMC\Unisphere VNX Management Launcher.
  2. Start een cmd-prompt in de beheerdersmodus en volg de Beyond Trust-prompts.
  3. Wijzig de directory in de locatie waar de VNX Unisphere Client Launcher zich bevindt.
    cd "C:\Program Files (x86)\EMC\Unisphere VNX Management Launcher"
  4. Voer Firefox uit met het volledige pad naar het opstartbestand index.html. Firefox wordt gekopieerd naar de temp-directory voordat deze wordt uitgevoerd en het volledige pad naar het index.html-bestand.
    .\FirefoxPortable\FirefoxPortable.exe "C:\Program Files (x86)\EMC\Unisphere VNX Management Launcher\index.html"
  5. Volg de aanwijzingen om de plug-in in te schakelen.
  6. Voer het IP-adres van VNX2/VNX2/eNAS in. Omdat het Java-framework zich lokaal op het werkstation bevindt, wordt het snel geladen.
