  • Running a System Check using PowerStore Manager (GUI) with the Run System Check option:dp_mem_allocation_override_check SHC failed
  • Running the System Health Service Script (dp_mem_allocation_override_check) using an SSH connection:
    [BSC:cyc@8SP3DN3-A ~]$ svc_health_check run -rhc dp_mem_allocation_override_check
    Name Location Status Description
Datapath memory allo.. node_a Failed Datapath memory override file
                                               exists. (KB#000253246)
    Datapath memory allo.. node_b Passed

       Failed: 1
       Total: 2
  • If this SHC detects that DP is running with non-default DP memory settings, PowerStore Manager displays: SHC detects that DP is running with non-default mem settings
  • In this case, the following output is displayed when running the System Health Service Script (dp_mem_allocation_override_check) using an SSH connection:
    [BSC:cyc@8SP3DN3-A ~]$ svc_health_check run -rhc dp_mem_allocation_override_check
    Name Location Status Description
    Datapath memory allo.. node_b Passed
