PowerStore: System Health Checks detects wrong Data Path memory settings
Summary: This System Health Check (SHC) detects wrong Data Path (DP) memory settings.
Symptoms
System Health may display a Datapath memory override file exists. (KB#000253246) message in one of the following scenarios:
- Running a System Check using PowerStore Manager (GUI) with the Run System Check option:
- Running the System Health Service Script (dp_mem_allocation_override_check) using an SSH connection:
[BSC:cyc@8SP3DN3-A ~]$ svc_health_check run -rhc dp_mem_allocation_override_check Name Location Status Description Datapath memory allo.. node_a Failed Datapath memory override file exists. (KB#000253246) Datapath memory allo.. node_b Passed SUMMARY Status: Failed Passed: 1 Failed: 1 Total: 2 - If this SHC detects that DP is running with non-default DP memory settings, PowerStore Manager displays:

- In this case, the following output is displayed when running the System Health Service Script (dp_mem_allocation_override_check) using an SSH connection:

Note: Results may vary based on the node where the check failed.
