Cause

Dit gedrag wordt veroorzaakt door de applicatie Alienware Command Center. Alien Isolation (een game uit 2014) staat bijvoorbeeld ingesteld op de prestatiemodus (wat op de meeste moderne systemen niet nodig is). Hierdoor schakelt Windows in de high-performance-modus terwijl de game wordt uitgevoerd (wat hogere processorsnelheden en thermische uitvoer veroorzaakt dan nodig is).
