Symptoms
Windows 2022 虚拟机上的 SQL Server 备份始终失败。
客户的备份解决方案必须停顿文件系统。使用选中的选项手动创建快照时，快照会完成，但选项“quiesce guest file system”显示为未选择。
VMware.log看似正常，在拍摄快照期间设置了停顿选项。
检视来宾作系统和 Windows 事件，没有关于卷影拷贝的错误事件。
VMware 工具服务正在运行。
Cause
VMware 工具服务正在运行。但缺少 VMware 快照提供程序服务。
需要 VMware 快照提供程序服务，才能使用“停顿来宾文件系统”选项为来宾虚拟机创建快照。
Resolution
要解决此问题，请遵循以下步骤：
- 卸载 VMware 工具，然后重新安装。确保存在快照提供程序服务。
- 要卸载 VMware 工具，请执行以下作：
- 通过 RDP 连接到 Windows，打开“程序和功能”并卸载 VMware 工具。
- 再次安装该工具后，选择停顿选项应该可以正常工作。
