Cause

• Parametro errato nel campo vpxd.cfg log o modifica nel DNS (Domain Name Server) causa vpxd non si avvia.

Resolution

• Questo problema può essere risolto utilizzando uno dei seguenti approcci:

 

un. Se vCenter è configurato per l'utilizzo di un server DNS, aggiungere un record DNS per risolvere hostnameUrl valore della proprietà.

 

Oppure

 

b. Aggiornare il /etc/hosts per risolvere il valore sul file hostnameUrl valore della proprietà.

 

Oppure

 

c. Sostituire il valore del hostnameURL Nel vpxd.cfg file di configurazione, in /etc/vmware-vpx/vpxd.cfg con l'IP vCenter. Esempio:

 

Originale:

<hostnameUrl>vcsa01</hostnameUrl>

<instanceName>vcsa01</instanceName>

 

Modificato:

<hostnameUrl>172.16.1.15</hostnameUrl>

<instanceName>vcsa01</instanceName>
