Cause

• Felaktig parameter i vpxd.cfg loggfil eller ändring i domännamnsservern (DNS) orsakar vpxd Det går inte att starta.

Resolution

• Det här problemet kan åtgärdas med någon av följande metoder:

 

a. Om vCenter har konfigurerats för att använda en DNS-server lägger du till en DNS-post för att matcha hostnameUrl fastighetens värde.

 

Eller

 

b. Uppdatera /etc/hosts för att matcha värdet på hostnameUrl fastighetens värde.

 

Eller

 

c. Ersätt värdet på hostnameURL I den vpxd.cfg konfigurationsfil, på /etc/vmware-vpx/vpxd.cfg med vCenter-IP-adressen. Exempel:

 

Original:

<hostnameUrl>vcsa01</hostnameUrl>

<instanceName>vcsa01</instanceName>

 

Redigerad:

<hostnameUrl>172.16.1.15</hostnameUrl>

<instanceName>vcsa01</instanceName>
