Introduction

 

The following tables are a reference of the Group Policy Object (GPO) settings available for DCDM. GPOs allow administrators to provide a consistent configuration for DCDM and can be used with Microsoft Active Directory or Microsoft Intune.

Setting Options Description
Show Graphics User interface (UI) on endpoint Not Configured, Enabled, Disabled When enabled or not configured, the UI is visible to users on end point device.
When disabled the app runs in the background and the UI is not visible on endpoint devices.

Enable User Consent Not Configured, Enabled, Disabled When this setting is enabled, Dell collects usage information for improving its products and services.
Enable the Default Dell Catalog Not Configured, Enabled, Disabled When this setting is enabled, Dell Command Converge (DCC) uses the default Dell Catalog for updates. When it is disabled, you must specify a custom catalog for Dell Command Converge to use. If you disable this, without specify a custom catalog XML file, DCC does not work.
What Updates to Deploy Not Configured, Enabled, Disabled Filter Recommended Updates or All Applicable Updates
Use Internet connection if proxy fails Not Configured, Enabled, Disabled Use Internet connection if the proxy fails, Applicable only when Proxy settings are configured.
