Symptoms

まれにですが、AMD Milan CPU(7xx3)を使用しているハイパーバイザー クラスター内のPowerEdgeサーバーで、クラスター全体でMCEがランダムに、断続的に発生することがあります。

影響を受けるPowerEdgeシステムは次のとおりです。

  • R7525
  • R6525
  • R7515
  • R6515

 

Cause

特定のCPU命令が更新されない。

Resolution

これに対処するには、2つの手順が必要です。

 

  1. BIOSアップデート
    • 2025年7月にリリース予定のBIOS 2.19.0へのアップグレード

 

  1. アップデート後にBIOSの設定が変更されます。
    • F2 BIOSを起動します。
    • [System BIOS Settings] > [Processor Settings]で、[AMD IC Config Disable IT Bypass]設定を有効にします。
    • 変更を保存して再起動します。

 

このBIOS設定を変更したシステムでは、一般的な仮想化環境でパフォーマンスが約0.5%から1%のわずかな低下を示す場合があります。
