即使啟用了 VLT 的拓撲在 VLT 域中提供了無環路環境，但某些非 VLT 成員埠最終可能會陷入環路方案。VLT 中支援生成樹通訊協定的快速生成樹通訊協定 （RSTP） 和快速每 VLAN 生成樹+ （RPVST+） 模式，以提供此狀況的解決方案。根據網路拓撲，可以將 VLT 域的主節點指定為根網橋。
注意：Dell Technologies 建議您在啟用 VLT 前先啟用生成樹 （RSTP 或 RPVST+），以避免網路中出現意外迴圈。
RPVST+ 在 Dell SmartFabric OS10 中預設為啟用。除非變更預設的生成樹模式，否則不需要設定 RPVST+。
VLT-Peer1(config)# spanning-tree mode rapid-pvst使用下列命令啟用 RSTP。
VLT-Peer1(config)# spanning-tree mode rstp如果是 VLT 節點上的多重生成樹通訊協定 （MSTP），請在同一 MST 區域中設定兩個 VLT 對等節點，以避免網路迴圈。請確定兩個 VLT 對等節點上的 VLAN 對實例對應、區域名稱和修訂版 ID 均相同。
VLT-Peer1(config)# spanning-tree mode mst
VLT-Peer1(config)# spanning-tree mst configuration
VLT-Peer1(conf-mst)# instance 1 vlan 2-10
VLT-Peer1(conf-mst)# revision 10
