Symptoms
Dell PowerEdge Enterprise Catalogs are released on a weekly basis.
However the current Latest catalog available as on May 25, 2025 in https://downloads.dell.com/catalog/ may be OLD Version published in January 2025.
This may result in downgrade recommendations by Catalog consuming tools like OpenManagaeEnterprise /iDrac /DSU/DRM /UMP.
Compliance reports may indicate Non-compliance of target server where baselines linked to online catalog.
Other Catalogs listed in the Catalog Types article may also be affected.
Cause
Latest Version of the catalog uploaded on May 23 and May 26 May are not reflected in downloads.dell.com site due to potential sync delays.
Resolution
Dell Engineering is aware of the issue and working with IT to correct the issue.
Workaround
Use catalog from following link as workaround.
https://dl.dell.com/catalog/catalog.gz
OR
https://dl.dell.com/catalog/catalog.xml.gz
Similarly change Portal name to dl.dell.com instead of downloads.dell.com as potential workaround for other catalogs where necessary.
