Data Domain：「Cannot add disks to tier unless the file system is expanded」というメッセージを受信したときに、階層にディスクを追加する方法

DD6900、DD9400、およびDD9900システムの場合、ストレージ容量ライセンスは、60 TB(有効容量48 TB)の未フォーマット容量の増分で使用できます。

8 TBドライブを搭載したシステムでは、ライセンス容量がディスク シェルフに取り付けられているディスクの全容量と等しくない場合があります。

システムに8 TBディスク(有効容量96 TB)が1パックあるが、ライセンス容量が48 TBの場合は、システム容量の半分しか使用できません。

この問題が発生し、3 TBまたは4 TBのディスクに対してシェルフ固有の容量ライセンスを使用して物理ストレージをさらに追加しようとすると、「Cannot add disks to tier unless the filesystem is expanded」というエラーが表示されます。

以下のストレージとライセンスを確認します。

システムのアクティブ階層は、7.2 TiBディスクの5パックで218.3 TiBです。

これは、オーバー プロビジョニング(OP)対応システムの8 TBディスク5パックに対して、4パックの8 TBディスクに対して192 TB(174.48 TiB)と288 TB(261.72 TiB)の間の有効容量です。

ここでは、システムに正しいサイズの CAPACITY-ACTIVE HIGH_DENSITY ライセンスがインストールされていれば、アクティブ階層を261.72 TiBに拡張できます。

修正されるまで、システムにストレージを追加することはできません。

解決するには、次の手順を実行します。
1.ライセンス HIGH_DENSITY アップデートして、システムの既存のストレージ容量をカバーします。
2.FSを展開します。
3.「storage add」コマンドを実行して、新しい3 TBまたは4 TBパックを追加します。
4.FSを再度展開して、新しいパックを「使用中」に設定します。
