The EMC PowerPath Viewer for Windows is not supported for use with the new PowerPath Virtual Appliance for licensing. The EMC PowerPath Viewer was designed to work with the old PowerPath ELMS Windows licensing software.
The new PowerPath Virtual Appliance 2.1 has a built-in PowerPath Monitor that provides similar functionality as the PowerPath Viewer did:
