Installing the 2.5 inch rear drive backplane
Prerequisites
Steps
- Use the hooks on the rear drive cage as guides to align the drive backplane.
- Lower the backplane into the system until it is firmly seated.
- Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver, replace the screws to secure the
backplane to the rear drive cage.

Next steps
- Install all the drives into the rear drive cage.
- Connect all the cables to the backplane.
