Removing a 2.5-inch hard drive or SSD from a 2.5-inch hard drive or SSD carrier

Prerequisites

Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system section.
Keep the Phillips #1 screwdriver ready.

Steps

Remove the four screws from the slide rails on the hard drive or SSD carrier.
Slide the hard drive or SSD out of the hard drive or SSD carrier.
