Removing the On-Screen Display- OSD buttons board

Steps

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. stand
    2. back cover
    3. optical drive
  3. To remove the OSD buttons board:
    1. Remove the screw to remove the metal plate that secures the OSD buttons board to the computer [1].
    2. Peel off the tape from the OSD buttons board [2].
    3. Remove the OSD buttons board from the chassis. [3].
    4. Disconnect the cables from the OSD buttons board to release the board from the computer [4, 5][3].
