Removing the VESA mount bracket

Steps

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. stand
    2. back cover
    3. cable cover
    4. speaker cover
    5. system board shield
    6. power supply unit
  3. To remove the VESA mount bracket:
    1. Remove the screws that secure the VESA mount bracket to the computer [1].
    2. Lift the bracket away from the computer [2].
