Removing the LED daughter board
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the left-side cover.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the LED daughter board and provides a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
- Disconnect the light-bar cable and the front-LED cable from their respective connectors on the LED daughter board.
- Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the LED daughter board to the system board.
- Slide and remove the LED daughter board off the system board.
