Installing the system board
- Hold the system board by its edges and align it toward the back of the computer.
- Lower the system board into the chassis until the connectors at the back of the system board.
- Align with the slots on the chassis, and the screw holes on the system board align with the standoffs on the computer.
- Replace the screws (12 lbs) to secure the system board to the computer.
- Route all the cables through the routing clips.
- Align the cables with the pins on connectors on the system board and connect the following cables to the system board:
- intrusion switch
- optical drive
- hard drive
- PSU
- power switch
- power distribution for optical drive and hard drive
- Install the:
- expansion card
- memory module
- heat sink assembly
- SD card
- M.2 PCIe SSD
- processor
- cooling shroud
- optical drive
- 2.5 inch hard drive assembly
- front bezel
- cover
