Removing power supply unit — PSU

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. cover
   2. front bezel
   3. 2.5 inch hard drive assembly
   4. cooling shroud
   5. optical drive
3. To release the PSU:
   1. Disconnect the PSU cables from the connectors on the system board [1].
   2. Unroute the PSU cables from the retention clips [2, 3].
      
4. To disconnect the cables:
   1. Disconnect the power cable from the system board [1] [2].
   2. Lift the cables away from the computer [3, 4].
   3. Remove the 6 screws that secure the PSU to the computer [5].
      
5. To remove the PSU:
   1. Press the blue release tab [1]
   2. Slide the PSU and lift it away from the computer [2].
