Removing the speaker
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
- Remove the side cover.

The following images indicate the location of the speaker and provide a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
- Disconnect the speaker cable from the connector on the system board.
- Unroute the speaker cable from the routing guides on the chassis.
- Press the tab and slide the speaker along with the cable from the slot on the chassis.
