Removing the sensor board
CAUTION:The information in this section is intended for authorized service technicians only.
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the SIM card.
- Remove the base cover.
- Remove the 4G WWAN card or 5G WWAN card, as applicable.
- Remove the WLAN card.
- Remove the display assembly.
- Remove the display bezel.
- Remove the display panel.

- Remove the sensor-board cable from the routing guides on the display back cover.
- Lift the sensor board, along with its cable, off the display back cover.
