Removing the WLAN card
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the base cover.
About this task
The following image(s) indicate the location of the WLAN card and provides a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
- Loosen the screw (M2x3) that secures the WLAN-card bracket to the WLAN card and palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Lift the WLAN-card bracket off the WLAN card.
- Disconnect the antenna cables from the WLAN card.
- Slide and remove the wireless card off the WLAN-card slot.
