Removing the DC-in

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. base cover
    2. WLAN card
    3. display assembly
  3. To remove the DC-in:
    1. Remove the 3 M2.5 x 6 screws that secure the right display hinge bracket to the system [1].
    2. Lift the hinge bracket [2].
    3. Disconnect the power-adapter port cable from the connector in the system board [3].
    4. Disconnect the DC-in from the system [4].
