Procedure

  • CAUTION: Ensure that there are no cables under the keyboard.

  2. Slide the macro-keys cable and the macro-keys backlight cable to their respective connectors on the keyboard, and close the latches to secure the cables.

  4. Align the screw holes on the keyboard bracket with the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly.
  5. Replace the 17 screws (M2x3) that secure the keyboard bracket to the palm-rest assembly.Image: Replacing the keyboard
