Ethernet ports

There are two Ethernet ports on the front panel, and each has its own specification and performance.

LAN 1 is equipped with an Intel i225 LAN chip with integrated MAC/PHY supporting 10BASE-Te, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T and 2500BASE-T, and 802.3 specifications.

LAN 2 is equipped with a Marvell 88E1512 LAN chip with 10/100/1000BASE-T support and IEEE 802.3 compliance.

LAN 1 and LAN 2 behave differently when used with different operating systems and at different speeds. See the following table for details.
