Displaying Uplink Failure Detection
To display information on the UFD feature, use any of the following commands.
- Display status information on a specified uplink-state
group or all groups.
EXEC modeshow uplink-state-group [group-id] [detail]
- group-id: The values are from 1 to 16.
- detail: displays additional status information on the upstream and downstream interfaces in each group.
- Display the current status of a port or port-channel
interface assigned to an uplink-state group.
EXEC modeshow interfaces interfaceinterface specifies one of the following interface types:
- For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword TenGigabitEthernet then the slot/port/subport[/subport] information.
- For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword fortyGigE then the slot/port information.
- For a port channel interface, enter the keywords port-channel then a number.
If a downstream interface in an uplink-state group is disabled (Oper Down state) by uplink-state tracking because an upstream port is down, the message error-disabled[UFD] displays in the output. - Display the current configuration of all uplink-state
groups or a specified group.
EXEC mode or UPLINK-STATE-GROUP mode(For EXEC mode) show running-config uplink-state-group [group-id](For UPLINK-STATE-GROUP mode) show configuration
- group-id: The values are from 1 to 16.
