Installation and upgrade considerations

NOTE:For OpenManage Enterprise version 3.9 or earlier, update to version 3.9.2 before updating to version 3.10. To upgrade to OpenManage Enterprise version 4.0, perform a migration from version 3.10.x. See the Migrate an appliance section in the OpenManage Enterprise User's Guide for more information.

When upgrading OpenManage Enterprise to 3.10.1 or 3.10.2, update the OpenManage Services plugin (if in use) to version 3.0.1 to enjoy full plugin functionality.
