Storm Control

Storm control allows you to control unknown-unicast, muticast, and broadcast traffic on Layer 2 and Layer 3 physical interfaces.

Dell EMC Networking Operating System (OS) Behavior: Dell EMC Networking OS supports unknown-unicast, muticast, and broadcast control for Layer 2 and Layer 3 traffic.

Dell EMC Networking OS Behavior: The minimum number of packets per second (PPS) that storm control can limit on the device is two.

To view the storm control broadcast configuration show storm-control broadcast | multicast | unknown-unicast | pfc-llfc[interface] command.

To view the storm control multicast configuration, use the show storm-control broadcast | multicast | unknown-unicast | pfc-llfc [interface] command.
