Procedure

  1. Remove the screw (M2x3) that secures the battery to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
  2. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board.
  3. Lift the battery off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.

  4. Turn the computer over.
  5. Press and hold the power button for five seconds to ground the system board.
