Installing the coin-cell battery

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

  1. Adhere the coin-cell battery to the slot on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
  2. Route the coin-cell battery cable as illustrated and connect it to the I/O board.
  1. Install the battery.
  2. Install the base cover.
