Removing the speakers

Steps

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your tablet.
  2. Remove the:
    1. microSD card
    2. SIM card tray
    3. display panel assembly
  3. To remove the speakers:
    1. Disconnect the speaker cable from the connector on the system board [1].
    2. Peel off the tapes that secure the speaker cable to the computer [2].
      Disconnect speaker cable
    3. Unroute the speaker cable from the routing guides on the computer.
      Remove the speaker cable
    4. Lift the speakers off the computer.
