Removing the hinge cap

  1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the base cover.
  3. Remove the battery.
  4. Remove the display assembly.
  1. Open the hinges to 90 degrees to the display assembly [1].
  2. Slide the hinge cap towards the right hinge and lift it away from the display assembly [2].
