Removing the LED daughterboard

  1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the base cover.
  3. Remove the battery.
  4. Disconnect the speaker cable.
  1. Disconnect the LED board ribbon cable from the connector on the system board [1].
  2. Unroute the ribbon cable from the rubber routing channel on the coin cell [2].
    Disconnect FFC cable
  3. Remove the single (M2x2.5) screw [1] and remove the LED daughterboard from the palmrest assembly [2].
