Prerequisites
The following is a list of components required for successful installation of the switch:
NOTE: : Detailed installation instructions are provided in Site preparations and S5048F-ON switch installation.
- S5048F-ON switch
- AC or DC country- and regional-specific cables to connect the AC or DC power source to each of the switches’ AC or DC power supplies
- ReadyRail mounting brackets for rack installation, included
- Screws for rack installation
- #1 and #2 Phillips screw drivers, not included
- Torx screwdriver, not included
- Ground cable screws for L-bracket, included
- Copper/fiber cables
Other optional components are:
- M3 or M4 ground cable screw, depending on your switch
- Extra mounting brackets
- Extra power supply unit
- Extra fan module
