Removing memory module

NOTE:Depending on the configuration you order, you may see either of the heat sinks as shown in the image below.

Heat sink

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. cover
    2. bezel
    3. Removing the hard drive and optical drive module
  3. To remove the memory module:
    1. Push the memory module retention tabs on both sides of the memory module.
    2. Lift the memory module from the memory module connector on the system board.
