Installing the 2.5-inch hard-disk drive assembly
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
About this task
The following image indicates the location of the 2.5-inch hard-disk drive assembly and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Align the hard-drive assembly at an angle to the slot on the computer.
- Press the release tabs on the hard-disk drive bracket and slightly align back to insert the hard-disk drive assembly to the slot on the computer chassis.
- Connect the hard-drive data and power cables to the connectors on the 2.5-inch hard-disk drive module.
