Removing the hard drive bracket

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the side cover.
  3. Remove the front bezel.
  4. Remove the 2.5 in. hard drive assembly.

Steps

  1. Pull the two tabs from the hard-drive caddy away from the hard-drive.
  2. Slide the hard-drive towards the right and lift it away from the system.
