Installing Microsoft Windows agents at the client

To install the agents:
  1. Verify that the client has the Microsoft .NET 4 framework installed:
    1. On the client, start the Windows Server Manager .
    2. Click Configuration > Services.
    3. Ensure that Microsoft .NET Framework appears in the list of services. If it is not installed, you can get a copy from microsoft.com.
  2. Install the agent:
    1. On your appliance, share the directory C:\Program Files\AppRecovery to the client(s) you plan to back up.
    2. On the client system, map a drive to C:\Program Files\AppRecovery on your DL appliance.
    3. On the client system, open the C:\Program Files\AppRecovery directory and double-click the correct agent for the client system to begin the installation.
